Don’t forget to bring a cap, towel, sunglasses, energy drinks, etc.

It’s easy to trip and drop a camera. Always keep back up SD cards and back up your photos.
Tipping : If you tip the guide remember the driver he is the one that gets you there and back to your hotel safely.


 

 

Itinerary

Note : Times are an estimate depending on the amount of time you spend at each activity. Confirm with your guide on the day.

06:30 am  Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok and leave for the Floating Market. Scenic drive through towns small villages paddy fields prawn & salt farms and Thai people going about their daily business.

08:00 am  Arrive at a nearby pier to embark on a cruise to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market by long-tail boat (Takes 40 minutes), a journey that takes you down some picturesque canals lined with traditional Thai culture.

11:30 am  Arrive at Ayutthaya. Visit historical sites in Ayutthaya. Wat Yai Chaimongkhon, one can see the large pagodas, built to celebrate the victory of his single-handed combat on the elephant’s back during Ayutthaya capital.

12:30 pm  Lunch at Thai Local Restaurant.

01:30 pm  Visit Wat Maha That, Also known as “Monastery of Great Relic”. It was the center of Buddhism in the Ayutthaya Kingdom Burmese put it on fire. A Buddha’s head entwined within the roots of a tree is one of the most recognizable images in the temple.

Visit Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit, Phra Mongkhon Bophit, a large bronze cast Buddha image was originally enshrined in the open area outside the Grand Palace and later covered by a building in the reign of king Songtham. During the fall of Ayutthaya, the building was badly destroyed by fire. The one currently seen was reconstructed, but does not have as beautiful craftmanship as the previous one. The open area east of the sanctuary was where the royal cremation ceremonies took place.

Visit Wat Phra Si Sanphet, This is the most important temple within the Royal Palace compound and the original from which the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok has been copied. Three outstanding Ceylonese style pagodas were built during the 15th century to enshrine the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings.

04:00 pm  Leave from Ayutthaya pass green paddy fields, villages, and temples then return to bangkok.

05:00 pm  At the end of tour will be visit the local product store. Then tranfer to your hotel.

 

Temple Dress Rules :

  • Please wear dress politely for Summer Palace & Temple. 
  • Ladies should have minimum 3 quarter sleeves and shorts to the knee for the temple.
