08:00 am  Meeting point at your hotel. Depart Bangkok for Ayutthaya. (76 Kilometer)

The Ayutthaya Kingdom was the second Siamese capital and a major center for global trade and diplomacy from 1351 to 1767. Its ruins are now the Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Ayutthaya was founded in 1351 on an island advantageous for defense and trade. It expanded its influence across Southeast Asia and by the 17th century, became a large, diverse global city. The kingdom faced frequent conflicts, particularly with the Burmese. Weakened by internal issues, it was destroyed by the Burmese army in 1767 after a siege.

09:00 am  Bang Pa-In Palace is the royal residence of the King and members of the Royal Family. Located in Ban Len Sub district, Bang Pa-In District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, it boasts a variety of beautiful architectural styles and is open to the public.

10:30 am  Take boat trip around Ayutthaya island 40 minutes.

11:30 am  Lunch at Thai local restaurant.

After Lunch
Continue to Wat Mahathat is one of the most important and well-known temples in the Ayutthaya Historical Park. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its unique feature: the Buddha head embedded in a tree root.

Continue to Wat Yai Chai Mongkol is a historically significant temple and a popular destination in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. A highlight is the Phra Chedi Chai Mongkol, the tallest chedi in Ayutthaya, built to celebrate the victory of King Naresuan the Great.

Continue to Wat Phra Si Sanphet was the most important temple in the Ayutthaya Royal Palace. It served as the royal temple of the royal court, not a place for monks to reside. It is comparable to Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram (Wat Phra Kaew) in Bangkok today. Its highlight is the group of three elegant Sri Lankan-style chedis.
